Let’s see how to Find Treatment

Finding Treatment in the Community

This page includes a listing of searchable treatment locator tools to help you find treatment in the community (outside of the VA health care system). These search tools allow you to search for therapists within a certain distance of a specific zip code or city. Most of these search tools allow you to search by condition, such as depression or insomnia, or by specific type of treatment, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This listing of treatment locators is intended for information purposes and is not an endorsement of any specific organization, resource, or provider. We encourage you to contact providers before beginning treatment to discuss your needs and the specific types of services provided.

The Low Cost symbol indicates search tools that specifically include therapists who provide free or reduced-fee services. Some providers listed in the treatment locators without this symbol may also provide some services for free or at a reduced rate in certain circumstances. Check with the individual provider to see if they offer services at reduced or no cost.
